DAY 1
Evening departure by British Airways from London Heathrow to Cape Town.
DAY 2
On arrival you will be transferred to The Constantia where you will stay for 3 nights. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax in the tranquil settings of Constantia.
Situated in the heart of the Cape’s oldest wine region, The Constantia is an elegant and luxurious boutique hotel offering a unique and special experience. Located in close proximity to some of South Africa's top wine estates and many internationally celebrated restaurants. The quaint town of Simonstown, the False Bay beaches, Cape Town as well as the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront are also not far from Constantia. Guests staying at The Constantia will be able to relax in peace and tranquillity. An inviting sunken swimming pool and surrounding deck is set in the beautifully manicured garden with rolling lawns, vibrant colours and exquisite mountain views. DAYS 3 and 4
Days at leisure. You may wish to spend time in Constantia and explore the charming villages of Simonstown and visit one of the many vineyards to sample South Africa’s finest wines. Cape Town is also close and you may wish to venture into town to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront and visit its shops and restaurants. This working harbour has an abundance of shops, from designer boutiques to food market stalls, to large craft markets. Other excursions available are a cable car ride up Table Mountain, or take a ferry out to Robben Island and become acquainted with the tiny cell which Nelson Mandela called home for almost two decades. DAY 5
This morning you will be transferred to the railway station to board The Blue Train in Cape Town for an overnight stay in a deluxe suite cabin. Follow the northbound tracks of Cecil Rhodes, who dreamed of a railroad from Cape to Cairo. The Blue Train departs Cape Town at approximately 08:50 hours and the route between Cape Town to Pretoria comprises of a 27-hour journey of 1600 kilometres (994 miles), through some of the most diverse and spectacular scenery offered by the African sub-continent. On the northbound trip the train stops at the tiny Victorian hamlet of Matjiesfontein where you can enjoy a glass of sherry and take a glimpse of a bygone age. Back onboard the Blue Train enjoy an elegant and refined evening where everyone dresses in evening wear. (B, L, D)

DAY 6
On arrival in Pretoria at 1250 hours, you will be taken to the Sheraton Pretoria Hotel where you can relax and will overnight. (B)

DAY 7
This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your South African Airways flight to Kruger Mpumalanga airport. Upon your arrival you will be met and transferred to Jock Safari Lodge for a 2 night stay. This afternoon enjoy a game drive in search of the ‘Big Five’. (B,L,D)
Jock Safari Lodge is the first private lodge set in the heart of Africa's premier wildlife reserve, the Kruger National Park. DAY 8

DAY 9
After a final game drive this morning, transfer to the airport for your South African Airways flight to Johannesburg. Connect with your British Airways flight to London Heathrow. (B)

Arrive at London Heathrow in the early morning.
